Balances
Analytical balances are the most sensitive weighing instruments. Balances typically weigh in grams with sensitivities ranging from .1g to .000001g. Balances with sensitivities of .1g, .01g, or .001g, are considered precision balances. Balances with sensitivities of .0001g, are considered analytical balances. Balances that weigh in increments of .00001 are called semi-micro balances. Balances with sensitivities of .000001g are called micro-balances. Balances with high sensitivity levels may come with a draft shield, which are designed to ensure stability and accuracy during your measurements.
