Truck scales measure the weight, print it on a ticket, and come in sizes ranging from 10x10ft to 140 ft long. California's most common truck scale is 70x11ft or 70 x 10ft. 40ft truck scales are also popular among recyclers. Axle scales can be 10x10ft or two separate 30in x 7 or 12ft scale pads with ramps that can weigh one axle at a time.
