Moisture Balances
Moisture Balances
A moisture balance is commonly used in food, pharma, and chemical industries and uses a loss-on drying method. It determines the sample's moisture content by heating it until all its vapor has gone into gas form, then measures how much remains as a liquid or solid residue at different temperatures using an accurately graduated cylinder attached to sensors that can detect even tiny amounts.
